Buyer Protection

Last updated: March 1, 2026 Every purchase on Pavilion is backed by our comprehensive Buyer Protection program, designed to give you confidence when shopping for surplus inventory. 1. WHAT'S COVERED Pavilion Buyer Protection covers you when: - An item doesn't arrive - An item is significantly different from the listing description - The condition is materially worse than the stated condition grade - An item is defective (unless listed as "for parts" or "salvage") - You receive the wrong item 2. HOW IT WORKS a) Purchase any item on Pavilion b) If there's a problem, file a claim within 30 days of delivery c) Provide documentation (photos, description of the issue) d) The seller has 48 hours to respond and resolve e) If unresolved, Pavilion reviews the case and makes a decision f) Eligible claims receive a full refund 3. ESCROW PROTECTION Funds from purchases are held in escrow until: - The buyer confirms satisfaction, OR - The 30-day protection period expires without a claim, OR - A dispute is resolved This ensures sellers are paid for legitimate sales and buyers are protected against misrepresentation. 4. CONDITION GRADE GUARANTEE Our standardized condition grading system sets clear expectations. If an item's actual condition is materially worse than the listed grade, you're automatically eligible for Buyer Protection. 5. COVERAGE LIMITS Buyer Protection covers the full purchase price plus original shipping costs for eligible claims. There is no per-item or per-year limit. 6. EXCLUSIONS Buyer Protection does not cover: - Buyer's remorse (you simply changed your mind) - Minor cosmetic imperfections consistent with the listed condition - Items damaged by the buyer after delivery - Claims filed after the 30-day window - Items purchased outside the Pavilion platform 7.
