Buyers come to Pavilion expecting to find:
- Unused surplus
- Contractor overstock
- Verified open-box items
- Store closeouts and excess inventory
What they should NOT expect is broken merchandise, incomplete products, or mystery boxes. Those destroy trust and hurt every seller on the platform.
When buyers trust what they're getting, they buy more often, spend more money, and come back again and again.
Pavilion exists to help liquidators move good inventory faster, reach buyers beyond their local market, and build a reputation for real value instead of uncertainty.

WHAT THE PAVILION STANDARD MEANS FOR SELLERS
By selling on Pavilion, you commit to:
1. Listing only quality inventory — unused surplus, overstock, verified open-box, closeouts, and excess inventory in honest, sellable condition.
2. Accurate descriptions — every listing must truthfully represent the item's condition, completeness, and any defects. Use Pavilion's standardized condition grades and provide detailed condition notes.
3. No junk, no mystery boxes — do not list broken merchandise, incomplete products, unsorted mystery boxes, or items you know to be defective without clear disclosure.
4. Photos that match reality — listing photos must accurately represent the actual item the buyer will receive.
5. Honest sourcing — do not list counterfeit, stolen, or prohibited items. If you don't know the origin of an item, don't list it.
ENFORCEMENT
Pavilion monitors listings and buyer feedback to uphold this standard. Sellers who repeatedly violate the Pavilion Standard may face:
- Listing removal
- Reduced trust tier
- Account suspension
- Permanent removal from the platform
Our goal is not to be punitive — it's to protect the marketplace for everyone. When every seller upholds the standard, every seller benefits from the trust it creates.
